In his partnership with Ampersand, Chef Dismore serves as the founder and culinary strategist behind ADI Innovation Group. His boutique foodservice and culinary consultancy specializes in food and beverage product design, new restaurant concepting, and operations excellence. They’ve published some of the most widely acclaimed entrepreneurship and management books on the foodservice industry including Running A Restaurant For Dummies (1st & 2nd editions), Running A Bar For Dummies and Starting Your Restaurant Career.

In 2018, Andy led North American culinary innovation and menu strategy for Subway, the world’s largest restaurant franchise, for unprecedented brand transformation. He owned responsibility for 26,000+ restaurants in North America. His team aligned cross-functional workgroups on an agile, guest-centric new product development process, succeeding by leveraging applicable best practices, design thinking and consumer validation methodologies.

He and his senior team led the development of an unprecedented 18-month pipeline of new product platforms and limited-time-offers grounded in consumer intelligence and tied to brand vision, guest segmentation and evolved menu architecture that culminated in positive traffic and sales performance for the first time in six years.  He was instrumental in identifying and securing exclusive strategic partnerships with Tastemade®, King’s Hawaiian Bread®, Halo Top® ice cream and Beyond Meat® and leveraged each brand’s equities in the design and launch of competitively-insulated product platforms.
