Cole applies neuroscience in the study of human behavior and decision economics.
Cole leads original and secondary research on a number of studies and projects for Ampersand.
While pursuing his degrees in Neuroscience at Economics, he also serves as a researcher at Northwestern University’s Cognitive Neuroscience Lab to illuminate human memory functions and their physiological transmission. The Paller Lab combines diverse techniques to measure brain activity to unravel the complexity of cognition as well as the detailed organization of the brain.
Cole serves as original researcher and editorial lead on the composition of Purposeful Enterprise (working title), an analysis of the crucial role that “higher purpose” can play in an organizations’ success. His work applies historical precedent, and contemporary business case analysis to illustrate concepts and to author original passages throughout the manuscript.
